We enjoyed hosting the Jones County Cattlemen’s Association on Saturday, June 1. We had a great time visiting with everyone and giving a tour of our farm and operation. It was a beautiful day. It has been a busy Spring for us. We have all our corn planted and some is beginning to tassel. The crew has been working on baling hay, getting our summer grazing established behind our winter rye grass, and weaning calves. We are also happy our breeding season is now complete. We are looking forward to a successful harvest season and wish you success as you store up for winter as well. We will all be “makin’ hay while the sun shines” and hopefully everyone will get adequate rain and sun to do just that!
